  Bees In The Curriculum
 

"Bees in the curriculum" is a schools resource pack published by the British Beekeepers Association. It is primarily intended for use in Key Stages 1 & 2 of the National Curriculum. The pack is crammed full of useful information on bees and beekeeping. Bees in the Curriculum is structured around six key areas; looking at mini beasts, the honeybee colony, beekeeping, pollination, honey and beeswax.

The pack seeks to provide resource material to extend pupils' knowledge and to develop their skills in the National Curriculum subjects. It has relevance not only to science but also in Design & Technology, English and Mathematics. Developed by beekeepers and former teacher Sylvia Chamberlin, it contains nearly 90 pages and includes 28 colour photographs, carefully chosen to illustrate various topics within the pack.
